Payment

Please note that all items on our website are subject to prior sale. This is due to the limitations of our technology. If you purchase something that has already been sold, we will notify you as to whether or not we can create an identical item for you. Sometimes this is not possible, in which case we will refund your money in full.

While we prefer Paypal, we will take money orders and even personal checks. All personal checks and/or e-checks must clear before items are shipped. Please email us for our payment address.

We can no longer accept orders from outside the United States and Canada. Due to the limitations of Paypal, if you are Canadian, please email us to arrange your purchase. Likewise, if you are a previous customer from another country, please email us to arrange your purchase.

Shipping

We ship to the US via USPS Priority mail. According to the USPS this takes between 2-3 days.

We do not offer rush shipping. We are a one-person company with no shipping department, and we have a very busy schedule, so sometimes items may take a day or two to get out. The USPS then takes a minimum of 2-3 days (longer outside the US). Please plan accordingly!

Privacy

We use your email address to communicate with you, and your mailing address to send your House of Marley purchases to you. Credit card information is between you and PayPal. We don't have a mailing list at this time, nor do we sell or otherwise give out your personal information. If you would like to be on a future mailing list, please email us at houseofmarley@yahoo.com

Custom orders

If you do not see it on the Web site, it's considered a custom order. We take custom orders on some items on a very limited basis. We do not take any custom orders or special requests from October through New Year's, our busiest time of the year.

For original designs we cannot put into production, we charge an additional fee of $20.00 per hour with a minimum of 5 hours. For all other custom orders there is an additional 25% charge. We do not offer a discount for providing your own fabric, and 50% deposit is required before any custom work begins. CUSTOM ORDERS ARE NOT RETURNABLE. There is a 2 week lead time. Returns

CUSTOM ORDERS ARE NOT RETURNABLE. We will do our best to make certain you are happy, however we are not responsible for pug measurement errors.

Other returns with prior authorization only (items must be in saleable condition). Email us for authorization at houseofmarley@yahoo.com. Absolutely no returns after 30 days. We charge a re-stocking fee of 20% and buyer must pay return shipping charges. Only the item will be credited; no shipping charges will be credited.

Halloween Costumes

House of Marley stopped making costumes because it isn't worth the time and effort now that you can buy $6.99 made-in-China costumes from any large discount retailer. We will try to give you a referral, but many small shops feel the same way we do: it's not worth it. We can't guarantee the quality of work done by someone else (and we can't guarantee they will still be in business, either).

Rescue Donations

We're happy to donate items for pug rescue benefits. Please send us an inquiry via email. It helps to let us know what kind of item you are looking for; we wouldn't want to send an insulated winter coat to a rescue in Florida, for instance. Please keep in mind that our busiest time of the year is fall and winter, which makes it impossible to donate items from October-February.

Wholesale Orders

We don't do wholesale. We are a tiny company, and our claim to fame is handmade pug couture clothing. In order to produce enough items to make it worthwhile to sell wholesale, we would have to move production overseas and use cheap, crummy materials, which would eliminate the Couture Salon aspect of Extraordinary Apparel for the Fashionable Pug. We're not willing to do that.

Other Questions

Do you sell your patterns? No.
Do you make clothes for very large (or very small) pugs? If there isn't something to fit your pug on the site, you will need to place a custom order.
Do you have it in another color or can you make it in another color? What you see on the site is what we currently have. Anything else is a custom order.
I would like two of the same item. You can select the quantity on the House of Marley item page. If the only quantity listed in the drop down box is 1, that means we only have one of that item. If you change the quantity on the Paypal page, you will receive an automatic refund for your entire order.
How can I attach a leash if my pug wears a harness? We are happy to make a 1" buttonhole for the leash free of charge on our fleece. On your order, let us know where to put the buttonhole and the orientation (horizontal or vertical). Otherwise, try loosening the harness and putting it over the apparel. Items with buttonholes are NOT RETURNABLE.

If you need a d-ring on a coat, please let us know prior to purchase.
Unfortunately we can't add buttonholes to sweaters after they are knit; since sweaters are close-fitting, we recommend placing the harness over the sweater.
I would like high resolution photos for a book I'm publishing From time to time, we get these requests and never see the end results (the actual book). Our photos are taken using Web specifications which are not high resolution. We would have to re-do our photos to accommodate this, and we're in the pug couture business, not the photography business.
